1. To know Jesus and live Kingdom lives: preach and teach the good news, care (train up) for our children, pray, go to the lost, pray for the sick, serve others and consider others over ourselves.

AMADEO EVENTS

24 Hour prayer begins Friday August 27th - take an hour to pray for your family, your community, your church and for God's kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven!

Healing on the Streets - August 28th - want to step out on the water and pray on the streets for people to be healed? 7am-9am - Contact Barb Gomez, Jon Gomez or Anthony for more info.

Feed our Homeless Friends every Friday from 6-7pm. Bring a main dish or side dish - or both - also you can bring desert or soda drinks to share. Bring your whole family. Come do the stuff Jesus did - serving the least of these. Click here to leave a comment on what food you can bring....

AUGUST 28th - San Clemente Dinner With our Neighbors - 6pm. New Time!!!! Come at 5:45pm to set up and serve. San Clemente is the apartment on the south west corner of Germann and Power. We meet in the park in the back.

Home groups: AMADEO has several small groups in the week...

Mondays:
Senior High Schoolers: Meet 6:30-8:30 at Park Across from Cloud's House - Discussion on Relationship with Christ
Junior High Schoolers: Meet 6:30-8:15 in Cloud's House - Bible Study on Book of Genesis

Tuesdays: North Power Ranch for Families with no kids or grown kids at Bruce and Rae's House. 7pm

Wednesday: San Clemente Small Group Will begin in a few weeks. Talk to Jon or Shelly Kohler

Thursdays:
----Men's bible study re-gathering soon- talk to John Gomez 9am at Queen Creek Paradise Bakery
----Prayer Small Group for people willing to serve the church through intercessory prayer - at Gomez House: 630pm.

Friday: Giguerre Home Group - East Gilbert - for families with smaller kids. studying the word and praying for each other.

NEW SMALL GROUP STARTING for FAMILIES and YOUNG ADULT SINGLES: TBD - Jen and J and Kim and Ian will be leading this with a few other families. Date and Times to follow soon.

AMADEO NEWS

Missions in Northern Ireland Summer 2011.

Date of Mission Trip: End of June or Beginning of July - TBD

Cost: $1600 (Church will help with fundraising, scholarships, etc) - First Deposit of $300 due Oct 31st from those who are going.

Info Meeting Date: Sept 19th at Cloud House

Missions to AMADEO

Michaela from the UK will come back and visit us starting August 27th. She will be here two months.

Sarah comes as a missionary this Saturday!

*Family & Friends Camp (Church in the woods) - Sept 12th-14th - Set aside some time to spend with your whole family while camping with your church family!

AMADEO Resources

*Do you know somebody who could use food boxes or hygiene supplies - as well as clothes for kids? RE:STORE has food, clothes, toys,and stuff like Shampoo for people who need it. Call Shelly for info of how you can get resources to people who are in need.

*Do you need deep prayer? Let our prayer and ministry team take an evening to pray for you. Do you have a prayer request to give to our intercessory team? If so email Barb at: bandcgomez@aol.com

*Angel food ministries are available for people to buy discounted food. We do this through our sister church: VCC


*Do you know single women who are homeless and could use some help. Contact Dennis. We also have another opportunity to spread God's love through an organization called IHELP - this group is focused on helping single, homeless women in the Mesa area - email dennis.boydstun@gmail.com for more info.



AMADEO Prayer

*Come join the prayer and intercession team on Sundays at 8:30 if you have a heart for prayer.

*Come intercede every Thursday nights at Gomez house at 6:30pm

*Pray for God to bring us rest as we abide in him - and as we run the race so as to win the prize!

THINGS TO PRAY FOR

1. Pray for those struggling with cancer (breast and stomach, different folks)
2. Pray for those with car needs
3. Pray for those needing jobs. (see job listings at bottom of email.)



Praise Reports

1. God is bringing us Sarah and Michaela as missionaries to AMADEO
2. God is bringing us new leaders who are laying their lives down for the church
3. Food pantry is feeding around 80 families a month.

If I am missing cool things God is doing - send them my way and I will broadcast them for all to learn about and be encouraged.
