The Lord had said to Abram, Leave your country…and go to the land I will show you… will bless you;
I will make your name great…and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!

I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it.

God sends a man to a foreign land to tell the people to repent. And they do.

And the gospel will be preached unto all nations and then the end will come.

Go make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them everything that I have commanded you.

God . . . accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right.

Wait for the Holy Spirit to come in power and then you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judaea, Samaria and the ends of the earth.

The gospel . . . is the power of God that brings salvation . . . first to the Jew, then to the Gentile

so that we can preach the gospel to the regions beyond you

you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation
